Hilary holds a B.Sc degree in Finance from the University of llorin, llorin. A Masters in Business Administration (Marketing) from Lagos State University, Ojo, Lagos.

He worked in various organizations amongst which is the Lion of Africa Insurance Ltd and Guardian Express Assurance Ltd (now Spring Life Assurance Plc), where he distinguished himself. He is a member of the Nigerian Institute of Management (Chartered).
